The North Salem Old Fashion Days Event is during Labor Day weekend every year. The North Salem Police Department provides as close to 24/7 coverage as possible during the weekend event. This event is mandatory for the Town of North Salem Police Department, meaning any Reserve Deputies which are not able to attend for a minimum of 8 hours through the weekend, may be terminated or suspended temporarily from service if a paid Deputy.
